A clean "flying Log"
Gave The "flying log" as I'm now calling my poo brown Dolomite, a good clean inside and out yesterday ready for some photos to submit for the Insurance valuation.
I've owned the same Triumph GT6 since 1988. A 71 Rotoflex model, over the years I've replaced nearly every mechanical component and I've had some major body work done. I'm a firm believer in using my car,I've driven it to Europe sveral times visiting Holland, France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. I've also completed the Club Triumph Round Britain Run in it twice and got as far as John O'Groats a 3rd time.
Prior to owning the GT6 I owned a '76 1500 Spitfire and a '76 Dolomite 1850. In 2013 I expanded my collection of Triumphs by adding a Dolomite 1500hl with overdrive, which I subsequently sold back to one of it's previous owners, my mate Darren in 2021.
I'm an active member and club official of both the TSSC and Club Triumph holding the post of TSSC GT6 Register Secretary and Club Triumph Area Group rep for North Hampshire. I've now re-entered the field of biking having purchased a 1975 Suzuki T500 2 stroke twin after a break of 35 years from two wheels
